Policy Committee

As you know, our school committee is the governing body for our school district and operates based on the established policies. This year, I have been charged with the update and/or revision of three school committee policies.
1.Homework Policy
2.Retention Policy
3.Title I -Parent Involvement Policy
I plan to develop a policy committee. We will review the current policies, research policies in other districts, make modifications and revisions as necessary. The final step for the policy committee will be to make recommendations to the Superintendent who will then present the policies to the school committee for a first reading. I know that this type of work isn't for everyone, but if you have an interest please let me know. carnold@nsps.us
